I made all of McKinnley's baby food. It's super easy and SUPER cheap in comparison!! The bananas were always tricky bc they tend to turn even sweeter the more ripe they are. If you want something thicker/thinner add more or less water. Another trick you can use when you want to start making it in bulk is puree the food and then spoon in into ice trays. Once frozen pop them out into a freezer bag and label. So easy! I would take a couple of hours every 2 weeks to a month (depending on how much I was making) and cook everything, puree, it and freeze it. It took a little time but I was set for 2-4 weeks. Then when it was time for her to eat, I would thaw out or microwave however many cubes she would eat and we were done! I loved making her baby food and miss those day... :)

Yummy! One of my favorite meals ever. I've never done it in the oven though...just in the crock pot. You can try a can of cream of mushroom. It gives a nice "gravy" sauce. I'm not sure exactly how to do it. I've tried it a couple of times and it's good but not as thick as I want it. My friend does it and it's so yummy. It's still good when I do it, just runnier.

Those look so good, it's making me hungry! I love messy kitchen projects. Made chocolate covered pretzels for some office friends last night, my table was (and still is) a disaster! But I loved it.
